Freeze

About the band

One of Bristol's best wedding, party & function bands

Freeze is one of the best modern-day wedding, party and function bands in Bristol and the South West — a rock and pop covers band, led by Rich, built to keep a dance floor full from the first song to the last. Experienced and reliable, Freeze musicians have performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and corporate functions across the South West and abroad since forming in 2012, with a huge catalogue of songs spanning every era so the set works for every generation in the room.

Booking Freeze takes one thing off your plate on the day itself: the band brings its own full sound system and a curated playlist to cover the gaps between live sets, and works with you beforehand to help shape a set list — so the music never stops and the songs that matter most to you are in the plan. Smooth Booking Promotions books Freeze for weddings, parties and corporate functions across Bristol, Bath, Devon, Gloucestershire, Somerset, South Wales and Wiltshire — including, recently, a wedding at the Harbour Hotel, Bristol — and, as a genuine destination act, for events further afield too, with recent bookings taking the band to France, Spain and the UAE.

Freeze also carry their own independently verified track record, separate from Smooth Booking Promotions' own reviews: a 5.0 rating from 17 Google reviews and a 98% recommend score from 32 reviews on Facebook, with couples consistently praising the band's range and the energy they bring to a room.

“Freeze were nothing short of the perfect band for our wedding day.” — Ali Sinfield, Google review, 2026
