SURGE
About the band
High-energy live music built for the dance floor
Formed in the UK and playing together for the best part of four years, SURGE began life as Take the Mic — a popular bandeoke experience that had crowds grabbing the microphone and singing their hearts out. Along the way, the musicians discovered their true calling and evolved into a high-energy party band specialising in killer function sets that get everyone moving.
Since making the switch to SURGE, the band has brought the party to hundreds of weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and private celebrations across the UK. Their experience also includes corporate events, charity nights and milestone parties, as well as a proud role as resident band at the stunning Saunton Sands Hotel, where they regularly deliver unforgettable evenings overlooking the iconic North Devon coast.
With diverse influences and playing styles, SURGE's repertoire spans decades and genres. Whether the crowd is in its twenties or brings several generations together, the band builds the right mix to get everyone on their feet. Just as importantly, SURGE reads the room, adapts on the fly and brings fun, charismatic energy to every performance — turning each event into an uplifting, memorable night with non-stop party energy from start to finish.
